Overview

Amandari is located in the village of Kedewatan, on the fringe of Bali’s cultural capital, Ubud. This resort follows the design of a traditional Balinese village. Pebbled walkways link the suites together, each of which has its own walled garden. Amandari provides a unique setting from which to experience the cultural richness of Bali’s artistic centre as well as its mountainous region to the north of the island. Local people use the resort’s grounds to go about their daily lives, and guests are encouraged to leave their sun-loungers to meet their Balinese hosts making the hotel a kind of village, which gives the resorts guests a real Bali experience in a village form.
